Zoning and Subdivision Permits

The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for the management and coordination of the land use functions of the Township. It is charged with the duty of protecting the public’s health, safety and welfare. This is accomplished through the review and processing of land development and subdivision applications, insuring that the applicable ordinances of the Township are addressed.

Zoning is a pivotal responsibility of the department. Insuring the standards of the department are upheld, helps to ensure stable property value. The building block of the department is building inspection and permit issuance. Building inspections and codes provide consistent construction standards and builds toward an ever-growing quality of living in Adams Township. Together, the three parts of the department combine to be the foundation of the community.
